Castello di Loreto is located in a hilltop village 5 km from Todi, Umbria, less than 1.5 hours from Rome and 40 minutes from Perugia. The castle’s superb setting in the Umbrian countryside is combined with beautifully appointed rooms and accommodations. Each of the 3 guest rooms are individually decorated to offer a unique experience.
What remains of the castle has been officially declared a “historic monument” in 2004 by the Italian Castle Institute – Maximum Authority in the field of historic Italian buildings. The oldest part dated 1171 includes the tower portion. The original stone walls are 5 meters thick at the base.
